Ronnie and Jen have a clear calling on their lives to reach the hurting, hopeless, and broken with the love of Jesus. Before heading off to Southeastern University both were involved heavily in compassion ministries in Detroit, MI and Freehold, NJ. They feel a specific call to reach those who have been marginalized by society by meeting the spiritual as well as physical needs of the individual and watching the Spirit of God transform lives. They have a desire to see everyone they come in contact with released into their calling. They enjoy finding the best in people and helping them grow to be disciples who make disciples.

In 2013 they felt called to plant a church that brings restoration and redemption to a city. After 5 years of learning, praying, and planning they took the step into the calling God has placed on their lives, "to see a city rise from the ashes into the purpose and destiny of Jesus."

From 2010-2018 they served on staff at Freedom Life Church in  Centre County, Pennsylvania, under the leadership of Sam and Michelle Masteller.

In 2019 Rise City Church began and initially met at South Main Street Elementary School in Pleasantville. Once the Covid shutdown happened Rise was online for 2.5 years looking for a place to call home. The church family has been so faithful and patient in the waiting - continuing to meet together and serve the community even without a building. In September of 2022 the doors were finally opened at 1915 New Rd in Northfield. Now its time to watch God unfold his plans!
